For more than 400 years, the Pérez de Rada have looked after their ancestral home – the Muruzábal Palace – built at the beginning of the 17th century built on top of small constructions which were destroyed during the conquest of the Kingdom of Navarra. Bringing together a legendary tradition, Adolfo Marino Péres de Rada, Bordeaux trained winemaker, and his sister Fanny, decide to plant 30 hectares of vineyard. In 1991, the Marino family decided to bottle their own wines. The winery only produces wines made from grapes sourced from the winery’s vineyards.
