PALACIO DE LA VEGA

The Countess of Vega del Pozo could never have imagined a better viticultural tribute when, in 1991, her 19th century neo-gothic palace situated in Dicastillo, was converted into Palacio de la Vega. The people behind the initiative, a group of restless business associates, were bought out four years later by the international company Group Pernod Ricard, the current owners of the winery. Since 1991, Palacio de la Vega has managed 300 hectares of vines, from the start having a clear focus on international markets, building an image and making a style of wines that have all kinds of consumers in mind.
