The delight and passion with which the husband and wife team, María Sáenz-Olazábal and José Manuel Echeverría, have for wine, and a particular region, made the Alzania project possible, first begun in 2000, in Los Arcos, Tierra Estella,. They didn't start their adventure from nothing, given that their respective families were already owners of wineries. The average production per hectare is low (4,600 kilos) and their aim is to limit total production to 125, 000 bottles.
