BODEGAS MÁXIMO ABETE

After twenty-five years selling and distributing wines in the region of Navarra and neighbouring provinces, the Máximo Abete family business decided to produce wines from its own vineyards in 1998. With this objective in mind they reclaimed land and planted vines in the Guerinda Mountains, situated near to where the family had cultivated vines for a long time. The estate, between 600 and 800 hectares above sea level, is where they grow a total of 30 hectares of grapes of different varieties. Máximo Abete markets white, rosé and red wines under the brand names of Castillo de San Martin de Unx and Guerinda.
