Javier García and Laura Burgos, growers with a long-standing tradition, decided turn around their fortunes and start their own winery, making the most of the vineyards and land that their families has owned for a number of generations. Right in Murchante, a village with a great winemaking tradition, La Cantera de Santa Ana can be found. This winery, with only limited production levels, aims to make wines that represent the terroir, which means that viticulture is incredibly important. The harvest is carried out using small crates and the grapes are sorted on a selection table. The wines are made in small tanks and half of the total barrel stock is renewed every year.
