BODEGAS CORELLANAS

In 1900, in a small part of Corella, a winery was born. Its main aim, thanks to its founder Julián Hernández Malumbres, was to produce fortified wines. The popularity of these wines made sales grow and in the 1920´s, after Victor Mateo Malumbres had joined the company, the range of products available and the area of vineyard owned by the company was expanded. By 1925 the first harvest of red wines was being collected, made from Garnacha. Around fifteen years later, it was decided that a Muscat would be sold under the Sarasate label.
