BODEGAS CHIVITE

The first records of the Chivite family are from the 17th century, when a member of the Chivite family is mentioned as working in the world of wine. Since then, the Chivite’s have passed the winery from father to son. The company holds the name of Julián Chivite, youngest of Félix Chivite’s thrirteen sons and educated in the Bordeaux Business School, during his career he established himself as a key figure in the Spanish wine sector in the 20th century. Today the business is run by the eleventh generation of the family, who oversee 457 hectares of their own vineyards and modern winery installations in various locations.

Wine-making

Uvas seleccionadas dos veces y vendimiadas a mano de las mejores viñas de Aberin y Legardeta. En la elaboración se emplea la tecnología más moderna pero siguiendo los criterios más clásicos, con el fin de expresar al máximo la personalidad de las uvas. Criado durante 16 meses en barricas de roble francés.
