Murchante has been witness to the flourishing production of quality wines throughout its recent history. It was precisely the high price paid for the grapes produced in this town that drove the expansion of Murchante and in 1958 Campos de Enanzo was founded with the sole aim of defending the interests of the local wine producers. Currently it is one of the largest wineries in Navarra with a total annual production of six million litres of wine.
