BODEGAS AGUIRRE Y SAN BENITO

The Aguirre family started their own venture in the 1930's. Currently the grandson of the founders, Ángel Aguirre, is the general manager and winemaker and the person who in 1998 began an ambitious expansion plan at the winery. The result of this strategy meant that Bodega San Benito, nestled in the neighbouring area to Miranda de Arga, merged with Bodegas Aguirre, in the heart of Falces. Falces, one of the most important areas in the Ribera Alta and it is where the winery has the majority of its vineyard where Ángel makes his white, rosé and red wines.

Wine-making

Tras unos días de maceración en frío, su fermentación se realiza a 28/29º de temperatura, con remontados tres veces al día. Fermentado con levadura.
