It was in 1960 when a group of 120 growers created the La Cruz Cooperative, in Mañeru. Since its beginnings they paid special attention to the detail of winemaking, backed by good climatological conditions, great soils and continual investment in their facilities. In keeping with this strategy there have been a number of technological innovations. The winery makes young wines, making special mention of the rosés and aged reds, which rely heavily upon old vine Garnacha grapes.
