AZUL Y GARANZA BODEGAS

Founded in 2000 by Fernando Barrena Belzunegui, Azul y Garanza is a family winery, located in Carcastillo, with its own vineyards in an area called La Cañada de los Roncaleses, just at the start of the extra-ordinary Bardenas Reales desert – the largest desert in Europe. Thanks to its situation, the vines enjoy ideal conditions for the production of quality grapes: poor soils and an extremely dry climate, with exaggerated differences between day and night-time temperatures. The winery has practiced organic farming techniques since its creation.
